China said Thursday that it had uncovered a plot by members of a Muslim minority group to sabotage the Beijing Summer Olympics with suicide bombings and kidnappings of foreign visitors. After hearing this, CBS News immediately bought Katie Couric a one-way ticket to China to "cover" the games.
Chinese officials say they have found no evidence to substantiate these allegations however. That's not suprising. The Chinese government is still trying to figure out which terrorist group masterminded, "Me Chinese, Me play joke, Me put pee pee in your coke."
